practical experience you would require in the field of networking.
About the Program:
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) validates the ability
to install, configure, operate, and troubleshoot medium-size route and switched
networks, including implementation and verification of connections to remote
sites in a WAN. CCNA curriculum includes basic mitigation of security threats,
introduction to wireless networking concepts and terminology, and
performance-based skills. This new curriculum also includes (but is not limited
to) the use of these protocols: IP, Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol
(EIGRP), Serial Line Interface Protocol Frame Relay, Routing Information
Protocol Version 2 (RIPv2),VLANs, Ethernet, access control lists (ACLs).

Under the provisions of Hon'ble Supreme Court of India
Orders inSLP (Civil) No 24295&
24296 of 2004,
any student found indulging in Ragging ,his /her admission
may be cancelled and the student may be expelled from the
Institution, besides other disciplinary action as deemed fit by the
College Authorities. The College may also get an FIR registered with the police
against students suspected of indulging in Ragging.
TheSupreme Court has defined
"ragging"as
"any disorderly conduct whether by words spoken or written or by an act
having an effect of teasing ,treating or handling with rudeness any other
student, indulging in rowdy or indisciplined activities which cause or is
likely to cause annoyance ,hardship or psychological harm or to raise fear or
apprehension thereof in a fresher or a junior student or asking the students to
do any act or perform something which such students will not do in the
ordinary course and which has the effect of causing or generating a sense of
shame or embarrassment so as to adversely affect the physique or psyche of a
fresher or a junior student.".
Precautionary Advise to Freshers
Dear Freshers, We welcome you once again to the IITT POJEWAL
(PUNJAB) fraternity. Many of you may have apprehensions about hostel life,
particularly about your "interactions" with the seniors in the first
few weeks. For your benefit we would like to highlight the fresher-senior
interaction at IITT POJEWAL (PUNJAB)
While it is desirable that freshers and seniors should get to
know each other, this must happen in a mutually friendly manner. Any
interaction between freshers and seniors where the seniors are friendly,
welcoming and non-aggressive is encouraged.
On the other hand, if a fresher is forced to do anything which results in
his/her mental discomfort, it should be interpreted as ragging which is banned
by a ruling of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India. Please be firm and say
"no" to any aggressive behaviour without any fear or hesitation.
There is absolutely no reason for you to put up with any form of
aggressive interaction. Please contact Anti Ragging Cell or you can even
contact your hostel warden at any time to report any ragging. If you want to
leave an anonymous note about ragging that you have witnessed or experienced,
please do so at headoffice@IITT
Pojewal (Punjab)india.com. It will help us to curb aggressive
interaction more effectively if you are not hesitant to provide details.

IITT POJEWAL (PUNJAB) College Campuses accomodates few Canteens which provide diverse refreshments (light food and variety cold drinks) and sees a colourfull conglomeration of "lecture-stressed" students. One unique feature of the canteen is it's open-air format.
Open Air Theatre
A 400-seat open air theater is host to visiting artists. Student theater and musical DJ performances are presented in the open air theater through the College Theater Program. Auditions are open to all students and other members of the community. Student ensembles perform throughout the year both in concert and at College functions. For Evening Multimedia Entertainment, Movies are played occasionally in Open Air Theatre.
LCD Screens with Tata Sky Connections
IITT POJEWAL (PUNJAB) has installed few LCD Screens with Tata Sky network at different locations in the campus to entertain students after busy Academic Schedule.
Seminar Hall
Adding to the long catalogue of the resources, flamboyant and exquisite Seminar Halls are also present in the campuses. The layout is very up-to-date and has recently been the venue of a College level seminar.
Staff Colony
Both colleges have a fully residential facilities for the staff and the faculty.
Electricity Generators
The colleges possesses few giant size generators to serve the needs of the college during the power cut offs. The whole campus of the college is connected to the generators for the power supply.
Transportation
Bus facility for Students from Chandigarh , Nahan, and near by places. The College has Fleet of Buses and other modes of transport available
Dispensary
The students need to undergo medical examination once in a year and there is regular visit of Doctor on the premises apart from a dispensary available for minor ailments for everyone on the campuses including first aid
Drinking water
Drinking water is filtered by installed aqua guards with water coolers at each point for wholesome drinking water
Internet Cafe is available for all students at a token charge within the campus to keep in touch with the world and their folks at home far off.

It includes STD/ISD, Xerox Center, Documentation center and printing jobs.
